No. While XVI is Christ-centered (faith-aligned), it's not a church function, nor affiliate with any church. It's a thoughtfully hosted environment for Christian singles who value faith, character, fun, and meaningful conversation.

Certain (most) XVI experiences are explicitly faith-centered, while others are values-centered. All XVI experiences prioritize intentionality, emotional maturity, and respectful interaction.

Both XVI experiences are curated with the same level of intention, discretion, hospitality, and care. The difference is primarily the foundation used to shape the room. A faith-centered experience is designed for guests who desire a Christian-centered environment, where faith, spiritual maturity, church community, and marriage-minded alignment may be part of the curation process. A values-centered experience is designed for guests who may not identify as Christian, but still value character, emotional maturity, integrity, depth, intentionality, and meaningful connection. Neither experience is casual or random. Every XVI room is thoughtfully assembled around shared intention, relational readiness, and the kind of environment where people can be fully present, warmly hosted, and genuinely known.

Then you should still feel it was worth it. XVI is designed so the evening itself is enjoyable: excellent food and wine, thoughtful conversation, and a room that feels well-led and respectful—regardless of outcome.

You're in great company. Please let us know ahead of time and we can substitute a nice sparkling water in your wine glass, and filtered water in your water goblet. If the presence of alcohol in the room concerns you, and cannot be around it, let us know in your application, as this experience may not be for you at this time. We may offer a completely alcohol-free experience in the future.

Absolutely. We can offer vegetarian and vegan dishes that keep with the theme of the evening. We'll need 1–2 weeks notice. Our chefs are also happy to accommodate any dietary requirements or preferences you may have with 1–2 weeks notice prior to the experience.

Absolutely. When curating rooms, we do take single-never married/single-divorced into consideration as that can, significantly, effect life rhythm.
